The annual Parkinson’s Symposium offered by National Parkinson Foundation Greater Rochester and the University of Rochester Movement and Inherited Neurological Disorders Unit will be held April 12, 2014 at the Doubletree Rochester, 1111 Jefferson Rd, Rochester NY 14623.  Registration will be from 8:30 AM to 9:30 AM and lunch will be provided.

This year’s theme is “Whatever it Takes to Beat Parkinson’s” and will include presentations on:  the basics of Parkinson’s Disease, medications, updates on research, and a Q & A panel.  After lunch, John Baumann, an attorney and motivational speaker who has early onset PD, will present a talk entitled “Mysterious Ways: Removing your Blinders to see What is Beyond Apparent”.

As usual, due to the generosity of our sponsors, donors, and the success of our Moving Day fundraiser, there is no fee for symposium attendees.

Register here.

We are looking forward to seeing old friends and friends we haven’t met yet.
